1980 Newell on Ebay

That 1980 Newell that is up in Kenmore, WA is back on Ebay, this time with a "Buy It Now" Price of $24,950. It's also been on the Seattle Craigslist for a little less. If this guy was a little more forthcoming about the mechanical condition of this coach it might be worth pursuing for someone. Can't really tell by the pictures, because as Tom will tell you, even coaches in really bad shape look great in digital format. I sent an e-mail to him asking how old the tires were and got no response. Stick asked him other questions which he "didn't have time to check out".

I ended up buying this coach for 21,000. It is in super nice shape its like stepping back in time. everything works. low hours new tires. thanks to the banks not financing a "old run down motorhome" I got it for what i think is a steal lol. I would have to say after having a wonderlodge, lasharo, winabego, that this is the finest built coach I have seen (as a side note my dad had a 73 revcon) that thing was built nice front wheel drive 455 olds. built like a airplane. well now im the happy owner of a coach that will outlast me lol.

Fritz, glad to hear you got the coach, and that the tires are new. Does the coach look as good as the pictures on Ebay? It certainly looked good in the pictures, and love to see it in person. I posted a note on the "Introduce Yourself" thread that we are traveling to Spokane at Thanksgiving to visit my sister's family. Would love to hookup with you after Thanksgiving if you're not out on the road already enjoying your Newell. Sounds like you got a great deal!
