Paul: Are those dunes around Vegas? I'm in Pahrump for another week and wouldn't mind checking them out!

In addition to the nice looking rig that Paul Tracy has, the photo of his tricked out sand buggy with the Monster sponsorship made me think that Paul may not be your average Newell owner. After a few minutes on the web I find that Paul is an accomplished professional race car driver. Check out his website at www.paultracy.com (http://www.paultracy.com). Drill down to the photo section, Long Beach 2009 and you can see some shots of the inside of his Newell.

Well, I don't guess we should hold that against him.

Hope you guys don't dig too much into my background :-)

Thanks for the info Clarke. I guess I won't be seeing those dunes on this trip. Heading for Phoenix on Fri. for golf and Barrett Jackson and then on to Orlando for a couple weeks of R&R.

Yeah ,,I'm a race fan. Been followin' Paul for years. There is a relatively high percentage of Newell ownership in motorsports.
It seems like I remember seeing an article in Car and Driver about the Unser family and their Newell (Late 80's model) Bobby was out in the parking lot trying to do donuts with it near their New Mexico home. I wish I could find that article to put in my "Newell files"

The Unsers (Al, Al Jr. and Bobby) had Newells. My '92 (281) was originally ordered by and owned by Al Unser Jr. Coach 283 was Al Unser's coach, now owned by Larry. There is at least one other NewellClassic member with a Unser coach. I know that Jim Pendleton had his 1995 Unser coach for sale a few months ago.

I know one of the Unsers, not sure which one, has a new 2011 on order.

If you are referring to this Larry, I own #365 which was Felix Sebatis' coach, built especially for him with a rear lounge instead of a bedroom.

Al Unser Jr 96' model just went up on ebay. The interior looks really nice.

Anyone in the area where Al's 96 is at?
Would be nice to know what it really looks like.
I also saw where it had a new engine put in 03..Anyone know why that may have happened?
