Hey guys,

any source for the rubber wheel opening moldings ? Jerry at Newell said that he thinks they used some type of jeep molding from JC Whitney. I searched them online and other sources with no luck. All of mine are in place, but they look very poor, cracked and weathered. I may be able to sand and repaint, but if replacement is an option I would rather go that route.

Thanks
Bill III

I'm currently having my 1987 Newell Painted and have the same problem with the fender flare. What did you end up doing to resolve your issue. I looking for fiberglass flares does anyone know of a source?

I ended up just wet sanding mine down to the rubber. They are not perfect, but they do look 100% better. If you find a real solution please let me know. Thanks Bill III

I remember Steve Ward (Prairie Schooner - 1982 Newell with the rubber fender flairs) saying he had the molds used to make the original fender flairs on his coach, which were given to him by the former owner. I'm interested in installing some on my coach to dress it up a little. I'll contact Steve again to see if my feeble memory is correct.
