Earlier posts have mentioned the availability of documentation for various Newell systems on Ebay. I came across this Ebay listing for a DD Series 60 service manual on CD for $7, shipping included.

I ordered the CD and it showed up a few days later. The manual is dated 1996 and appears to be complete. Quite a deal.

I have the same, and it is a good reference doc. If any of you run into the document for the DDEC II would you post a link?

If anyone finds one for the 8v92 (Tom, do you remember where?)
I'd like to get one.

I have the DDEC II troubleshooting manual dated May 88. I'd copy it, but it's over 400 pages. If you want some info I'll try to find it.

I also have the Series 92 Service Manual, Allison HT Service Manual & Allison HT troubleshooting guide. All are printed & quite large.

I got them all on ebay 4-5 years ago for my bus project.

Thanks Gordon,

If I run into a snag, I'll keep that in mind. I was looking for the electronic version. I keep a bunch of electronic documents on the laptop I use in the coach. That way I don't have to kill a bunch of trees.

If I really need to study up on something, I'll print out the few pages I need.
