My coach had a set of split wheels know as the widow maker! I have a great place to go for upgrades and parts for most trucks, RVS and Buses. They have the wheels for this upgrade also

I think "he" meant to say he has a "great place" to get the upgrades, not great "please".

Hammer, thanks for your post. I am sure that others with the old split rim wheels will be glad to have a source for replacement wheels.

Yes i made a error :( I search for 3 months to find something that would fit the bolt pattern and wanted to spare others the time. They build allot custom of steel wheels for for all i mentioned and more hope it helps.

I replaced my 20" tube type wheels with steel wheels from the 70's. U-Haul put 22.5 inch wheels on their fleet of Ford trucks. They are 6 hole rims. There are alot of them in salvage yards and they are inexpensive. I paid $25 each for mine. With 8R22.5 rubber the wheels are exactly the same size as 8.25 20 wheels and rubber. The tubless 8R 22.5 14 ply tires are about $200 each.
