I just added my Newell to my Geico auto coverage. They are only giving me liability and uninsured motorist until I send them pics of the exterior. They accepted pics in the gallery of the inside. But, need more outside shots.

I have never filed a claim with them since I switched to them about 4 years ago on the autos. And do not know how well they handle claims. Everything else with them seems to go real smooth. Previously I had Allied on everything through the Farm Bureau.

Anyone happy or dissatisfied with them? For any reason?

I don't personally have Geico on our Newell and have considered going with them since my sister has had them and loves their service. She has only had minor claims with them with no complaints. She is getting a slightly better rates than I on a comparable RV.

I have a very old coach 71 vintage. Good Sam had the best insurance coverage and rate that I have ever had. I insure my 71 as the primary auto and then my family car. By paying for both in full at the time of purchase I have saved several hundred over my previous cost and have more coverage as well. GMAC is the underwriter for Good Sam's insurance. I even have collision coverage at no cost on my 71. Collision is unheard of on older coaches but is part of the Good Sam package.

James, what kind of coverage and rates are you getting. I was quoted $187 every 6 months for full coverage with roadside assistance. There are quite a few extra benefits they have included compared to my old policy with Allied. The inside contents is a minimum of 10k, which I was shocked on. My sister recently had a total loss with her RV and they didn't have any coverage on contents. Interested to compare other details with folks on coverages to find out if any of us are enjoying hidden charges or non-coverages? Or some great pluses?

Ken, I have liability, comp and collision on my 71 Newell. Comp and collision will pay up to 80% of the value of my coach. It's value may be hard to determine as there is not an existing "book value."The coach also has coverage for contents $3.000 at no charge. Total cost is $213.00 for one year. I pay $219 per year for our 87 Cabillac, liability only. The cadillac is insured as a second car under the coach policy. I was paying nearly three times as much with less coverage prior to joining Good Sam. This is the most affordable insurance I have ever had.

Thanks James for the update. It can be a little difficult to get full coverage on the older coaches and its always nice to know the options out there. Sounds like you are being taken care of.
