It does look, from the one picture, like a 42' that was in Orlando, FL for quite some time. It was listed on www.chooseyouritem.com. I saw the price as low as $54,900 obo last year. Several people that were interested in mine, at the time, had looked at that one as well. One never knows with these Craiglists postings, particularly, when very little is disclosed and only one picture. But, as Clarke says, if true, a seemingly great deal for someone with deep pockets to fill it up and maintain it. Was this on your wish list Matt? If so, I'll put it on your credit card. lol

I see allot of these donations (yachts), they need an appraisal for the donation. When they donate it they are able to take an appraised value on their taxes ---unless (from what I have been told) the entity sells it before the 2 years are up. Sometimes they simply lease the donation for the 2 years at $1.00/year to get around this.
At any rate if you 38' is getting small, why not look?

David, good to "see" you back on the forum. That '93 in Irvine looks interesting...heck, that's what I paid for my '82, BUT like Steve, I love my '82....I love it's simplicity...simplicity for a simple mind....haha!
