i am looking for a new condenser , mine is in the right side front bay . its 18 by 18 and 1 inch thick . anyone know a part # or brand on it , so i can locate one . called newell a couple days ago but no call back

I just put a custom condenser in my '52 Pontiac. You may try a shop that services hot rods, that is where I went. Here is a link to the catalog for Vintage Air Look on pages 76 & 77;

I would think that a Condenser is a Condenser I would look at the dimensions closely. I actually bought a cheaper generic version at the A/C Shop.

Steve is right. There are many shops that should have what you need. Depending where you are located. Any major city should have a supplier with something comparable to what you currently have. I know several locations on the west coast.

Take another look at my earlier post. There is a link to a catalog that may be of help. If you were in Southern California I would direct you to the AIR SHOP in Santa Ana, CA. This shop has different sizes and styles in stock. This type of shop (custom air conditioning for Hot Rods) would be of much more help than say a Napa or ....
