Palm Desert, CA for Thanksgiving?

We're going to be in Palm Desert, CA for the week of Thanksgiving. I know there are several very nice RV Parks in the area (Emerald Desert and Thousand Trails come to mind).

I was curious if anyone was going to be in the area during that time?

Where are you going Mark? We are up the hill in Idyllwild. We have a the Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony this weekend.
