Fresh water holding tank

My 1996 Newell has sprung a leak in the fresh water tank. I have tried to repair with heat welding but to no avail. It still leaks, however much less, but it therefore still needs to be replaced. Spoke with Newell and they quoted for labor alone over 4K.
Looking to see if anyone has attempted this. Newell said the Aqua Hot needs to be removed and then the tank can come out. Has anyone removed their Aqua Hot?

Not a small job..Removed Aqua Hot from Monaco once and took me a few hours just getting it out for a pipe replacement. Have also repaired a water tank with a plastic weld covered in dubble bubble epoxy, but it was above the outside fill hole...

Can you see and get to where the leak is? If you could post pictures should help.
