My water heater quit heating last night. I'm still in Moab but leaving Thursday. Actually we're visiting the Zonkers in Denver for a couple days. Tried West Marine but not in stock. Any other places to try and get it shipped quickly?
thanks.

and here is a link to Amazon;

They look very similar to the one that I just replaced on the water heater at the cabin. Maybe Tom is right and it is worth a trip to Home Depot or Lowes with the Element in hand. Or get out the coffee maker..............

Well it turns out that Raritan uses a standard heating element. I picked up a 2000 watt element at Home Depot in Denver (thanks David) and just finished installing it. The breaker is 20 amps and the new element pulls 16 amps so that should help with the recovery rate.
Raritan wants $32 + shipping, Home Depot wanted $9 with tax.
The old element was coated with lime, probably why it wasn't working.

Florida is really nice. Check out some of the springs, Weeki Wachi Springs has some underwater mermaids. I saw it as a kid.
You might get lucky and see some manatees also.
