Can someone tell me what the different types of siding that Newell has used over the years? I am pretty sure that all '89 and back utilized some type of rolled aluminum, right? What is the gauge used?

On the '90 and newer is the smooth siding aluminum as well or something like fiberglass? What gauge if aluminum?

The side panels on Newells are aluminum, including the 1990 models up through the current P2000i. The front and rear caps are fiberglass. Sorry, I don't know the gauge thickness of the aluminum.

I guess this post is getting revived. I will be doing some aluminum sheet metal work on one of my old coaches I acquired back recently. So, I will be finding out what gauge the metal is and post the info.

I will be continuing to do whatever upgrades needed to this 1978 38' coach, until hopefully a buyer come's along to take it off my hands. It would be a great deal for the person wanting to do their own upgrading. I'm also saving up for a little newer larger Newell to full-time in. Ken;)
