The Newell

Anyone have any experience on highway 24 from Interstate 70 down through Leadville, CO, and on to Salida?

I'm wondering if there are any major grades, hairpin turns, etc, that I'll have problems with. Looks like there are some hairpins on Google Earth, but they don't look that bad. Anybody ever taken their Newell on this road?

How about 91, which runs from Copper Mtn down to Leadville?

We have, Its ok, not the worst, I think thats the back way out of Breckenridge. From what I remember the pulls are not long. Maybe to the summit 8-10 miles. Maybe Ron Skeen can recall more. He was just there last winter on a snow ride.:o
