Stuff we hardly ever talk about

«~» Are 'Clay Scale Models' used often or does Newell rely on '3D Computer Animation ?'

«~» @ Newell Coach, Do Product Designers, Technical and/or Engineering Department(s) utilize
final clay models as patterns for mold making ?
Now a days,
«~» Does Newell Utilize Other Techniques for creating molds, from '3D and/or other Computer
Design Software' such as IBM (CATIA) & Dassault Systems (ENOVIA V5) to special rotors or other ?

To answer your question... The p2000i has a rear cap that was sculpted from clay and a front cap that was created using Rhino...

That's a good question... From what I understand the model was completed toward the end of 2002 and started in production during the 2005 model year...
