Max,

Could you be a little more specific? Ask a direct question maybe?

Are you talking about how much it costs to keep it running or whether it should have a rear bath + half bath?

How much will I lose in deprectiation?

We would like to help you, just give us a little hint.

Thanks,

:dito: or how about the feeling you get when you don't have one to use and you see everyone else living it up on the road in a Newell without you. Or better yet some folks have two Newells and they won't loan you one of their spares.:crying: If a guy can't drive a Newell and due to depression it could drive him to over :hungry: or go on a :beer:binge. Either way you look at it, the longer you go without a Newell it can become unhealthy for ya.

Now, I'm only kidding! Somewhat.

Hi Maxwell,

The cost of full time traveling and newell ownership will depend on many factors. I know full timers that spend 30K a year and others that spend 60K. It really depends on the couple etc.

If you are debt free including your Newell then you could live comfortably on $50k per year. If you found a workcamp position that allowed you to have a lot for free then all you would be paying is for food and entertainment (which is a lot if you have lots of excursions). We could have spent way less money if we had just sat the coach in the campground all the time but that's not much fun, may as well just buy a house and have more room... it's not the best lifestyle if you want to save money, ALL coaches are expensive to drive and maintain. I figured about $1/mile for maintenance, then add in fuel and living expenses.

Max, all kidding aside, there are still a lot of variables to running and operating a Newell Coach. Like some have stated it depends on how you use it, how often etc.

This is kind of a tough question as some of us live in one spot full time and hardly move it, others are on the move every week or every couple months and then

there's the recreational users who may only use their coach a few times a year. So many costs can vary depending on what you may have more wear on or how much

fuel expense.

Maybe throw a scenario out there pinning down whether you are speaking of full timing or part time recreational usage? And please forgive any of our ill humor some

of us use the forum to spell relief.
