We are towing a jeep wrangler. I have noticed a lot of wear on the outside edge of the front tires. Is this normal in a toad or do you think I may have an alignment problem. Thanks for any input.

Is your towbar level?

If the towbar is at a radical angle it will pull the front of your jeep up, or down affecting the camber. Over time it will show up as unusual tire wear.

Towbar manufactures recommend the bar be within 2" of level and no more then 4".

I do notice more wear on the outside of our tires as well but we also drive the mountain roads here.

Sometimes they aren't just pulling right, or the wheel alignment needs to be at the other end of the tolerance in the specs. This is usually more of a problem for FWDs, which are aligned for the front wheels providing the pulling power, rather than being in trail.
