Workamping?

Is anyone currently workamping? Or if you have do you have any advice or suggestions? What types of jobs can you find workamping?

There are several Campground and RV Park type jobs. Then there are jobs where you can travel with Amusement Theme Parks. We have met a few people who were into Christmas Tree and Fireworks Sales.

Also met a real sweet couple who would property sit and move to different peoples places to be their caretaker. They travel to different properties/homes and care for the yard, home and animals and sometimes small farms or homesteads. They built up a good little business by word of mouth and it works out great for them.

Not sure on the pay or how it works to do any of these as we are retired and choose not to work. :) We have met many folks that want to work so they have something to do to stay busy. So the pay isn't a big deal as they aren't doing it for the money. I know if you aren't worried about the money there are lots of volunteer jobs out there too! :)

I have known a couple computer networking technicians who travel in their RVs traveling where-ever the next job might be.

I have also heard of jobs at golf courses for landscaping and maintenance that full-timers like to get.

You can look into RV Delivery, RV Sales or RV Technician jobs.

Oh and I hear Amazon.com hires seasonal workers. For packing and shipping at one of their warehouses.

I'm sure others will have some other helpful ideas.

I telecommute and my work phone is VOIP, so if I have high speed Internet I can work no matter where I am. The biggest problem that I have is that my wife still goes into a brick and mortar office and gets jealous when I'm not home :thumbdn:

Hmmm, wouldn't mind finding someone to property sit for me during the summer while we are enjoying cooler climates. All you need to do is cut the 1.6 acres of grass, take care of the pool, and be around for a 50amp + water hookup.

There is always Direct Sales with companies like Tupperware, Pre-Paid Legal, Pampered Chef, Neways, Scentsy, Stampin' Up, Tahitian Noni, Shaklee, Partylite, Herbalife and the list goes on. These are just the ones that Melba and I could think of, not to bad for old folks huh?
