I am going to be upgrading my coach soon and I am looking to have an inverter installed. I am searching for reviews from owners who have inverters installed that can point me to the right one please. I'm talking brand specific with the best warranty & customer service. So, What do you have installed in your coach? I want something that can power my Frig, Microwave, Computer, TV.

Personally I recommend an Outback Inverter and probably in your case about a 3000 watt should suffice. You can get away with smaller inverter but the newer Newell and Prevost mostly come with double that and even higher. Xantrex is another, but their quality hasn't been holding up like they use to. Something to keep in mind that worth the extra dollars is go with a Pure Sinewave or True Sinewave vs. a Modified Sinewave. Modified's usually create a buzzing interference when using a microwave oven while watching TV.

I agree with Neweller,

Outback Inverters is what Newell Coach recommends and are considered the best on the market so you can't go wrong with an Outback product.

I've had an Outback 2800 watt for four years and it is bulletproof. Customer service is awesome.
Thanks,

I have 2 outback 3500 watt inverters and they have been perfect for almost 5 years.

Xantrex used to make a few super nice inverters, unfortunately over the year their quality has degraded and many consider them 2nd rate now. Another vote for outback inverters.

GringoPhil, I haven't heard of people experiencing issues with Xantrex although I haven't searched it out either. All the rv owners I know who run xantrex inverters all seem happy with their product.
