If you read through-out this forum you will see that Verizon wins. They have the best coverage for us folks on the road.

We buy our phones at Costco, they always throw in additional accessories that you would have to buy at the Verizon store.

Take a quick look at the contract, I believe that you have 14 days to return and cancel. Check 1st though!
I have bought a phone at Best Buy as an up-grade with Verizon and wasn't happy with it so I returned it and canceled the upgrade. I buy my phones on ebay, Motorola Razor V3m, but don't laugh too hard because they are about $35.00 and no monthly insurance fee!
Still Verizon usually has coverage where others fail.

According to most, Verizon offers better coverage on most areas. So far I really have not seen a lot of difference. Except that with Verizon I can use my phone as a mobile hotspot and have internet service anywhere I can get 3G cell service. All for only 30 dollars a month above my basic cell service. IMHO it really depends on where you travel and which company will give you the most for the money.

We're sure happy with Verizon after 52000 miles and 38 states. I think you'll find most of those who travel a lot prefer Verizon because of the wide coverage areas.

Another good feature of Verizon is their wi-fi wireless internet which make internet available for all computers in the coach. When I had AT&T, I had to use a USB device that was not wi-fi.

Verizon generally has better coverage in rural areas, but most cities and towns have good coverage from all the major carriers. Large areas of Nevada have no Verizon or AT&T coverage, but Las Vegas itself is well covered.

It's impossible to know if YOU will be happy with Verizon, since you might travel to some place where Verizon has no coverage & AT&T does. Or vice versa.

The top wireless providers used on the road are Verizon Wireless, AT&T and Sprint.
