Just wondering what you all are finding out there when you have spent some time on the road, your coach needs a bath, but the resort you are staying in does not allow washing. They may offer someone else to wash it, I would never allow anyone else to wash my rig, other than myself! The resorts want us all to have nice looking rigs, so they should allow a bath here and there. What do you do in this situation?

I have washed our coach in the rain. Don't do it if lightning is present. Never been stopped doing this

Sometimes it's better to ask for forgiveness rather than permission.

Drive it outside the park to somewhere where they don't mind, rest stop...parking lot...side of the road...etc... We do have all the resources on board

Like Jon said you can always pull out of the RV resort that's the plus side of having wheels! ;)

Take your coach to a place to have it washed. The RV resort would happily recommend a local company I'm sure.

I am either to lazy or too old to wash my own coach. Many truck stops have wash facilities and they are fast and not too expensive.

Chester, What was your average cost at the last wash facility you stopped at with your Newell?

You will find most high end RV parks will not allow you to wash your coach at the park. They do this to avoid wasting water, high water bills, spraying your neighbors who isn't interested in having their coach half washed etc. I find it honest and simple to take it to a detailer who can make it pretty inside and out.

I used the dry wash stuff. First I would mop it with the California Mop. Awesome dirt remover. Then spray the dry wash stuff on and rub it out. Looked spectacular every time and our Newell was all black with gold stripes. Never had a Park say that I was doing anything wrong, including the ones that didn't allow washing.

Here is a great video of a Wash Wax All brand of product and they wash small up to a commercial size aircraft with the stuff. The same application applies to motorhomes or luxury coaches.

Thank you for the video Ken & by the way that is some pretty remarkable stuff. I have took the liberty of posting a link to the product so that people know where it can be purchased if they so choose.
