Newell Motor Coach Slides vs Non Slides

Hello,

What would be your thoughts on buying a used newell motor home without slides? Having asked the question, I realize that each person's response will be a "to each his own" type of response.
Our initial thought is that we would prefer a newell without slides, but with a wide body. This is mostly due to the few stories we've heard from people who have had negative experiences with slides.
We're thinking if we can live without the additional space it's one less mechanical thing to worry about.

That being said, I'm wondering what the re-sale market will be in a few years for a Newell with no slides.

Mark you are correct when you said its "to each his own". I say take a look at both and decide from there. Of course slide units probably hold their values better then non slide units although a Newell can only depreciate so much in its lifetime.
