Xantrex Inverter Freedom Series 458 Inverter Charger Issues

What am I doing wrong? newell plugged in to AC with AC appliance being used. Unplug shore power and appliance runs on inverter. If I turn the inverter off with the Xantrex Freedom Basic Remote panel I cannot turn it on again with the remote panel. Tried pushing the Invert button momentarily and holding the button for three seconds. It will not turn back on until I plug shore power back in.

2stroke, Has it always done this or is it something new?
I would try removing and replacing the telephone type cable a few times. Maybe a bad connection. Both at the remote and the charger.
It is possible the cable or the remote is defective.

Only thing I can suggest is to make sure AC appliances are off before trying to turn the inverter on. If they are trying to draw current maybe the inverter can't start up correctly. Sorry I can't be of more help.
