I have seen some ads for coaches that have landline telephone wiring. What's the point? If people have cell phones and wireless internet why would someone need a landline telephone wiring? Just curious. Thanks, Dan, Mary and Oreo

Same reason most homes are still built with hard wired telephone wiring, habit. I was always amused by the fact many luxury coaches have a second phone in the bathroom, just how important is that call?

John, exactly! It is crazy that you can't hide from the darn phone when your in disposal!:bandit: Might be missing out on a multi-million dollar deal. Always chasing the money!

Some people have used these twisted pairs to wire battery monitoring systems. Lot easier than running new wires from the rear to the front.

John, I agree that is an exceptional idea of the Newell factory (and it wasn't even planned) to have pre-wired these coaches as Gordon suggested above.
