Granite tile or Inlaid carpets?

Can someone tell me what is better for coach? Granite tile or inlaid carpets for flooring?

Both together are nice. One over the other, I would go lightweight granite. Otherwise some people order new coaches with granite in the galley and bath areas and carpet in the salon and bedroom areas. Now they are mixing leather with cork and wood too.

We have carpet but the wife wants to put in hardwood.
