Exciting to here! Bling Bling coming our Way Newell Style! Tell them that since you are such an advocate of their services and this great site, that we want to see something extra special for more bragging rights! Get some pics of the boys in action, that will pay them even more dividends while showing folks what the factory does. Show n Tell and then Show n Shine!

Mike and Amy, that's a pretty cool avatar you are sporting!

We had to leave coach in Miami during make over due to some prior commitments. Here are some pics of 1st day before we left. includes some pics of Drapery/Upholstery shop pics where Donna is working on our new headboard. Tommy said he would try to get me some pics to post as well. Saw 2 Newell's among the NASCAR trucks yesterday heading east on I-40 in OK. Several high line coaches & trailers after dark as well. Got up at 4:30 am our old time in Miami to take some stuff out of the coach to go home. (losing 2 hrs in one weekend is hard on an old man!) Got home about 3:30 am this morning.

Well folks, hello from east of St Louis tonite! We got to Miami wednesday while Newell was still doing the final touches on our make over. We spent the night in the coach but everything was still covered up. When we got back from breakfast, we stepped into our"brand new" Newell!!! Pictures of work in progress taken by Tommy Key are attached. I'll try to upload some pics of finished product in a while.

Ok, here are finished remodel pics of our "new" Newell! We decided to stay with drapes vs window boxes. We felt that the drapes added a bit more "quiet" elegance. Besides, all the other newer coaches seem to have window boxes. Drapes sets our apart from the pack & gives a truly "personal" touch to our coach. i would highly recommend a Newell remodel to anyone wanting to upgrade an older Newell to "new" status. Even with an old 8V92!!

That is really looking good Clint and Fran. :thumbsup:Now did Fran go out and buy some bedding and frills or did Newell Coach throw that in? I bet that sweet running 8v will running even smoother now. Don't get any speeding tickets being all stoked about your new Newell! Tell Tommy Key to get the bays ready to receive, because there will be more excited owners ready for a spring sprucing up.

We had the Newell upholstery shop do the bedspread & pillows. Although Fran did pick up a couple of pillows at Kohl's & Pier One.

The tile is Travertine. It is in bathroom also. We got it heated as well. The dinette was recovered in black glove leather * fran had them replace the old laminate in dinette with black to match the desk.

The travertine is a great choice and looks super nice with the black glove leather. A friend of mine went a little overkill on the black glove leather in his Outlaw Coach. Don't get me wrong he still has a super nice coach as well, I just like what you guys did better. By the way, nice desk!

Clint & Fran I'm jealous! When your ready to sell let me know I'm still trying to get over how your Newell doesn't even appear to be the same coach anymore. Amazing job done by an amazing manufacturer. What was the cost for your total remodel. My wife is trying to talk me into remodeling our Newell and I'm trying to decide what makes more sense. Remodel or step up to a newer Newell Coach.

We budgeted 40-50K for it in Oct last year but had to delay until this year due to family emergency. We decided to not spare any expense on materials. It is supposed to be a luxury coach after all. Newell's craftsmanship is second to none. And still a bargain at $110 per hr. we thought about getting a newer coach also, but decided it would still be a used coach. This way we have a brand new Newell interior customized for us.

Did you go over your budget Clint or did Newell come in under what you budgeted? Very nice by the way! Can't put a price on luxury.

We had the Newell upholstery shop do the bedspread & pillows. Although Fran did pick up a couple of pillows at Kohl's & Pier One.

Having the fitted quilt bedspread makes it fast and easy to make the bed up doesn't it?

Did you get the Vista cordless window shades?

Blinds are manual have to pull the string. But they are a honeycomb black out. We just got home from shake-down trip to DC. Had a blast & really enjoyed our "new" coach.

Clint, what all was included in your make over? Was it all interior or was it both interior and exterior upgrades?

This time was all interior. New carpet in salon & bedroom, new heated travetine tile in toilet, lavy & kitchen. New washer & dryer. All new blinds & drapes. New bedspread & pillows. Re-glue some loose trim and make covers for skylight & fans. Almost forgot, new leather reupholster on dinette as well as new laminate in dinette area. Ran out of time for exterior. That will be next trip!!
