Spider Cracks In Shower Corner

I have a few spider cracks in the corner in our shower. Can I just touch these up with clear silicone? I just don't want any moisture getting behind the shower wall.

What kind of material are the cracks in? I'm assuming it's probably fiberglass, and if that's the case type "how to fix spider cracks in fiberglass shower" into Google search and it will pull up lots of great information and videos.
