As many know I traded 507 in on 512.. Couldn't be happier! But my wife thinks 512 is taller than 507. Anyone know if there was much did in height on 99's without a raised roof..

Marc, models with slides might automatically be taller do to the need for slide height and clearance. I don't recall this ever in discussion but it might be the deal. If so, that would be a good question to have an answer to.

507 had straight stairs 2 steps inside the door , 512 curved stairs 3 steps.. Also my old coach I could reach the controls by the for from the quikee steps I can't on 512.

Marc, now are you referring to the interior height being higher or the overall height of the coach??

Marc,
The floor height is 4+ inches higher for the slide mechanism than a non slide. You have 3 step now instead of 2. Steve M had one of the first slides and he still has 2 steps but one is a long riser. The space for the slides was added to the basement area is what make you sit higher in the slide coach.

So the basements are not as tall? But overall height remains the same?

The basements are all the same and the extra height is above the Basement ceiling. The over all height of the coach is higher.
