Stan

- Stan,
- Don't know but . . .
- From my readings : If I'd be you, I would break another ! ! !

- Superstitions ?
- Better a 'Window' than a 'Mirror !'

- To break uncolored glass in any form but that of a mirror or a bottle is a fortunate omen ;

- But if
- The glass is red, future trouble and anxiety are implied.
- If green glass is broken, bitter disappointment will be your lot.

- Don’t break a mirror, or you’ll have seven years bad luck.

Stan, if the glass is not double pane a glass shop may be able to replace it. On mine, the glass is double pane AND it is tinted. That would be a tougher job to try to find a match. By the 1990's the windows were made by Peninsula Windows of Vancouver, WA 1-800-468-4323.

This is too late to help Major Stan, but I did the same--broke the driver's window and the larger one over the sofa in my '76. I've had a glass shop remove those and the rear & bedroom windows which were cracked when I bought the coach. Removal & replacement of the laminated glass is under $500 in Wabash, IN. Quote in Mn was over $800 & did not include the back window. I'll post pics.

Hey Capntd,
Just curious..I live about an hour from Wabash, IN. Who did your glass work there?
