I'M IN THE PROCESS OF REBUILDING THE FRONT OF MY 1969 NEWELL. AS A FINISHING TOUCH I NEED A FEW LENGTHS OF THE GOLD ANNODIZED ALUMINUM THAT WOULD MATCH THE SIDE STRIPS ON COACH. ANY SUGGESTIONS AS TO WHERE I COULD FIND SOME? THE STRIPS ON MY COACH IS 7" WIDE AND I'M GEUSSING I NEED ABOUT 6 TO 6 &1/2 FEET OF ONE PIECE AND A COUPLE 2 FEET LONG. ANY SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE OF HELP, I'VE EVEN WONDERED IF ANYONE KNEW OF ANY NEWELLS IN SALVAGE YARDS. THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR ANY LEADS. THIS LOOKS LIKE THIS IS A PRETTY COOL WEB SITE FOR US NEWELL OWNERS.
THANKS AGAIN

Hi Craigster and welcome to NewellClassic.

I will try and help you:

I would try one of these links:

http://www.jfreeman.com/metal_sheeting.html
http://www.aaluminum.com/

Now if they can't be of service I would contact my local metal shop and see what they could do for me. I am sure others will jump on in and help you out.

Craigster, I have a '73 and will also be looking for the gold aluminum. I recall, a few years ago, that I called Newell and they told me where they bought the stuff. You might start there.
