hi all,

i hired a guy that did wally's wheels and he did them and they look fantastic. i went and bought the same supplies he used and i did all my bay door latches and the other things on the outside.

he said he had been detailing coaches for over ten years and he had tried everything. what he said was the best for the wheels was Blue Magic Metal polish. i bought it at amazon <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000BO8Z9I/ref=as_li_qf_sp_asin_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B000BO8Z9I&linkCode=as2&tag=affiliatechie-20">BlueMagic 400 Metal Polish Cream - 7 oz.</a><img src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=affiliatechie-20&l=as2&o=1&a=B000BO8Z9I" width="1" height="1" border="0" alt="" style="border:none !important; margin:0px !important;" />
. i used about 1/4 jar doing all the bay door latches and a few other things.

MTN73503-WBC 3" Cone Shaped Buffing Pad ten bucks

MTN73502-WBC 2" Cone Shaped Buffing Pad 6 bucks

about ten latches into it, the metal piece that goes into the drill came loose from the wool cone and i just glued it with jbweld and it worked just fine after that.

here are a few pictures.

Beautiful, Tom. I use Mother's, and get the same results on the wheels. Haven't used it on the bay door latches yet.

i know there must be lots of similar products. i initially did the wheels myself with the alcoa 3 step system, but this was way cheaper, easier and much better results..

the wool polishing cones has to be a big piece of the good results. it would take me hours to do by hand what the wool cones did in a few minutes on the drill.

thanks for the comments.
