It never ceases to amaze me as to what government agencies are doing what & all the associated duplications !
The Justice department doing studies on batteries................no wonder they don't have time for things like fast & furious etc..etc.....etc

The Office of Law Enforcement Standards
(OLES) was established by the National
Institute of Justice (NIJ) to provide focus on two
major objectives: (1) to find existing equipment
which can be purchased today, and (2) to
develop new law-enforcement equipment which
can be made available as soon as possible.
