Hate to tell you but.........We learned that lesson years ago on yachts. We now only use SHURFLO pumps now. Parts are easy to get and easy to replace. I had the same SHURFLO Pump installed in our Sailboat that we lived aboard in for 18 years with no issues. I installed one in our '82 as soon as we got it, well right after doing 3 weeks or so of repairs and tires, etc.

PS What are you guys doing in the shower?
