Larry,
DETCO makes a 2 part epoxy type paint that can be rolled and tipped or sprayed. Sterling has become the standard for painting yachts and looks like it was sprayed when applied correctly by brush (rolled and tipped). You may consider hiring this out just because of having to be on the roof;

if you though that automotive paint was expensive hold on! this stuff looks great and lasts unbelievably but you get what you pay for.
