I did the same thing. I worked on the muffler, too.

The problem is that the solenoid valve in the manifold is leaking. If you find a good inexpensive source for them, then let us know.

I couldn't get mine to stop, so I added a manual shutoff valve to the manifold since I don't ever use the air operated dump valve.
