ok, dummy strikes again. i bought a new manifold and installed it. same problem only on the opposite side. now i have a spare manifold. it is the same one used on the air dump valves for the poo tank.
ends up the air cylinder with the piston itself has a bad seal and is letting air flow to both sides of the piston so it has to escape somewhere so it goes out the exhaust.
the cylinders are custom made for newell at this length. but, i did get a rebuild kit from the manufacturer for $12.60. what a bargain so i got two....
i will take it out and rebuild it this weekend. should be fine then i hope
