the air piston to move the freezer/fridge in and out is an smc cylinder NCA1D150-4200
the seal rebuild kit NC1A150-PS $12.60. ordered directly from smc.
it is only held on by a pin on one end and a nut on the other.
i took it apart. the seal kit must be for other cylinders too because it had one extra set of seals that were not used.
after i took it apart i cleaned it up good and put the new seals in. i bought some non petroleum based grease to do the orings with. no grease on the cylinder rod.
the cylinder is held together with 8 long threaded rods that allen bolts go onto.
didnt take all that long.
put it in and it works fine and doesnt leak at all now.
