adjusted on a regular basis. Most heavy duty truck shops are capable of
doing this procedure, and it normally takes a matter of minutes. If
your brakes are not adjusted properly you can experience the pulling
and fading that you describe. Another indicator that your brakes need adjustment is a reduction in the
effectiveness of the parking brake to hold the coach on a slope. Late model coaches have automatic slack adjusters. However, even the automatic adjusters should be checked occasionally to confirm they are working properly.
