Recently, while dry camping, I developed a flashing E-3 error code on the display panel of my link 2000 while the generator was recharging the house batteries thru the Heart 2500 Inverter/130 Amp Charger. The book describes this code as an "inverter or charger over temp shutdown". Outside air temperature was in the high 80's-low 90's.This condition repeated itself several times over the course of 4 days. The condition does not exist when charging by shore power or while driving.

Any ideas?
