I guess that I am jaundiced by working in corporate America.

Given the litigous society that we live in, if I were Newell I would forbid my employees to touch a project like this. I doubt the coach can be repaired without the extremely large chassis equipment that Newell or other bus manufacturers own.

If the coach were free, then in my opinion it is still a bad deal. If Newell is associated with it in any way then they have an implied legal responsibility for the coach for it's lifetime. There is no way any money made could compensate for that liability.

In my opinion the only way to make any money on this coach is to part it out, and it has to bought for pennies on the dollar, not a third of it's original price.
