I've seen this done at Newell; on newer coaches 1997 and newer. They remove a side window and use a forklift to remove/install a new refrigerator.

I had a 1993 Newell and we switched out refrigerators in about an hour. My stairwell was straight on. So all we had to do was removed the doors from the old Amana and walk it out thru the entrance door. Same thing with putting in the new one.

Life was much simpler then.

In my current 1999 Newell I have the curved stairway; so when the time comes to change Amanas I will do like Newell does and remove the side window.
