Ok I have a solution.

The symptom is that you turn the ignition key switch and nothing happens. It acted just like a completely dead battery except I could start the coach from the engine bay. Once started from engine I would have power in the front (gauges, etc).


The problem was that the IGN ST relay had failed. Jim at Newell had me swap that relay with the AC / heat relay (another single throw) and the key magically started working. The relay is below the glove box behind an access panel. The start relay is in the second column from left third from bottom. Just below the headlight low beam mini breaker.


I replaced the broken relay and all is now working.
