If you are handy with tools, you can do it yourself. We had the constant rattle-trap miniblinds. We bought all new Day/Night shades and installed them ourselves. It was not too hard, just go slow and carefull.

Steve thanks for sharing the photos, It looks great! Very nicely done, you're an inspiration for those who want to do it themselves. Ultimately for us it would be nice to find someone who can do it for us. Not sure if we have the patience to do the job. But for the savings I better think long and hard about doing it ourselves. Where did you purchase the shades to install yourself?
