Just wanted to mention that we (including the boss) have recently aquired a '83 Newell, and have been quietly monitoring this forum.
I was advised that Newell sequence numbering started in '82, and since this unit was completed on Oct 82, was sequence number 007 (cool!).
Great shape and real power with the Cummins VT903.
