I bought a new laptop and it has Win 8 on it. If I could have found one in stock that has 7 I would have preferred Windows 7. I found it is useable after installing a free program: Classic Shell (Welcome to Classic Shell). No way I would voluntary upgrade Windows 7 to 8.
