There is a word of caution, that some states, like California, have become aware that Montana is the home state for many motorhomes which have avoided state sales taxes. Some states have looked for Montana tagged coaches parked long term in their states and have brought action against the owners. For me, it's well worth the risk, plus I never have to go to Montana to keep things current.
