Newell has installed tag axles on all coaches manufactured in recent years. The current coach with Series 60 power and other typical components is too heavy for a single rear axle. It would be possible for Newell to build a coach of, say, 35 or 36 feet on two axles rather than three, but significant changes to reduce weight would be required.
