I've had my batteries for a year now and time to add some water. Battery manufacturer says to add water until the level is just below the bottom of the fill port. My question is: If the original fill of acid was to a level... let's say 1/2 inch below the bottom of the fill port and I add water to bring the level to 1/8 inch below, won't that upset the acid/water balance preventing the battery from ever reaching a fully charged specific gravity
