With the exception of one Cummins powered coach and one Cat powered coach, all 1997s and newer are equipped with 500 hp Detroit Diesel Series 60 engines, plenty of power to pull an 8000 lb. trailer. The standard trailer hitch is rated at 5000 lb., but it is not difficult to upgrade the hitch.
