David, it is my understanding that the generator will not even attempt to start from any of the interior switches. When you get a chance to stop, open the generator and see if it will start from the control box that is mounted on top of the generator. If not check the fuse on the front of the control box then check the connections to the starter switch to make sure it is getting power and getting voltage from the control box when the start switch is activated.
If the generator is making no attempt to start, it is likely a 12 volt wiring/fuse issue rather than fuel or other issue.
