We have been on extended trips were the temp has been well below zero, without problems. The only addition to the advice given, is that in very cold conditions we will open cabinet doors under sinks and behind the shower to allow warm air into plumbing areas. Be sure to run exhaust fans when using the shower or when cooking, this will reduce the condensation on the windshield and windows.
